Spelling Lesson #21- pages 164+165…No writing due this week

Vocabulary Lesson #8- read page 32 and complete page 33. Write a short phase biography about a person in history. Tell about a unique event in this person’s life.The event should be true and may require that you do some research. This is due on Friday.

Science - Science Fair topics are due to Mrs. Gordon for approval by tomorrow

Math - Mitchell - Complete the Coordinates picture given at the end of class.

Social Studies - finish reading Chapter 5, Lesson 2 and complete reading check questions.

Map puzzle pieces due on 2-8-12 …They must include the state name, capital city, other major cities, rivers, lakes, mountains and other appropriate landforms. Illustrate the state bird, flower, land use, etc. Make sure you work in pencil first and spelling is accurate.

For those of you who are absent, we finished reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and completed the packet

Spelling Lesson #20 complete pages 156+157 writing due on Friday…Write a friendly letter to someone you know. Include the name of the person you’re writing to. Tell what you are doing or have done, and when you would like to see or hear from the person. Write a closing and your name. Use proper letter formatting. Use as many spelling words as you can.

Vocabulary Lesson #7 - complete pages 28+29 writing due Friday…On a separate piece of paper, write a short story based on an event you actually experienced. Use vocabulary words in your narrative and underline them. Be sure your story has a beginning, a middle, and an ending. (Use the story on page 28 as a  model.)

Español  - Use the sheet I gave you in class to correct your classroom drawing — be sure to fix any spelling mistakes and add any forgotten items
