Bronx Zoo Trip
Posted by Craig KnebelThe seventh grade is studying natural selection and adaptations. What better way to see adaptations at work than to visit the zoo. Students saw many active residents with adaptations for the cold, like longer fur or blubber. A hands-on activity began the morning looking at Predators versus Prey. We enjoyed a guided tour after lunch with naturalists explaining animal adaptations and behaviors.
