Casual Day view detailshide details The last Friday of the month and a casual day! Students are allowed to attend school in clothing of their choice rather than the school dress code. Their appearance must still be neat and tidy - no torn or frayed clothing, mottos, slogans, or unsuitable lettering on t-shirts. Shirts must fully cover midriffs, and short skirts are not permitted. Usually, the last Friday of each month is a casual day for students. Other casual days are designated for special occasions. JUN02 | Early Dismissal 12:00 PM Closing Ceremonies 10:00 AM view detailshide details All families welcome! This event is for Lower Schoolers to get to say a proper farewell to their 8th grade friends before they go back to homerooms for their own farewells, and all families and Upper School friends to join in hearing personal recognition of each 8th grader by a faculty member and watch a classic video of the lives of each 8th grader. JUN04 | Fairfield Open Hearts Festival 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM view detailshide details Join us at Fairfield's Pride! We'll be set up from 6-8pm with children's activities and to show our support. We hope you will stop by our table and say hi! 5-5:30pm Guest Speakers followed by Pride Flag Raising at Old Town Hall steps & flagpole. 6-8pm Music, Dancing, Food Trucks, & more on the lawn at Burr Mansion a few steps away. The seventh grade is studying natural selection and adaptations. What better way to see adaptations at work than to visit the zoo. Students saw many active residents with adaptations for the cold, like longer fur or blubber. A hands-on activity began the morning looking at Predators versus Prey. We enjoyed a guided tour after lunch with naturalists explaining animal adaptations and behaviors.
