Our class has enjoyed sharing two more special days with our young reading buddies. First, we investigated community helpers. Each student pair created their own special helper, dressed appropriately for their job.

Next, we investigated opposites. While creating an opposite flap book, fourth graders assisted their partners with proper cutting techniques. After each pair chose words to illustrate, a lively game of charades followed. We had such a great time and can’t wait for our next special time together after vacation.
