Menagerie – A Wine Event Poem
Posted by Unquowa Parents AssociationPlease join us for the UPA Autumn Unquowa Wine Event on Saturday, November 7 from 6:30 – 9:00pm at The Unquowa School. Tickets are available, follow the link to RSVP.
David is a tireless promoter for this annual event, please take a minute to enjoy a poem he shared at a recent assembly:
No matter whether it’s terrible or fine,
Elephants and lions don’t seem to like wine!
And whether the color is white, red or bubbly pink!
An Aardvark will probably pour it down the sink;
But Gators, Unquowa Gators to be precise.
They know how to enjoy everything in life.
Yes Gators, will be socializing with Parents, alumni and staff;
but I don’t think we’ll see a Camel or a Giraffe
And so, on November the 7th in this room, Gators will gather,
from 6:30 to 9 maybe later, it shouldn’t really matter;
It’s 6:30 to 9, for the main wine event,
preceded by a small tasting of wines which are heaven sent;
Enjoy a guided tasting right here with Mrs. Lauer,
It’s short, concise lasting just ¾ of an hour;
So join us Gators some old and some young
for the Unquowa Wine Event; please be at least 21;
Tickets will be for sale very, very soon,
please buy for Gators and Guests, and not for Baboons.
