Eighth Grade Drama Class
Posted by Alyson CahillEighth grade Drama class is officially in full swing! Currently, we are working on voice techniques for theatre – specifically, adding the elements of characterization and emotion to our voices. Once we covered the basics of proper vocal projection, breathing, and diction, students brainstormed types of emotions and characters. They then explored how their voices change to become different characters and show different emotions. Students even wrote and performed their own commercials, in which they had to alter their voices to sell a product! They’re having a lot of fun with these activities, and their enthusiasm shows when they share their work with the whole class!
