Putting the Kind in Kindergarten
Posted by Faith BarbutoFor the past few months kindergarten has been working on kind acts and words. Activities have ranged from kind notes left randomly on the cars in our parking lot, to writing kind words about ourselves and even role-playing ways to show kindness and compassion to others. This week, I had the class write kind words on crowns which I then took down to my visit as the Mystery Guest in PreK-4. They are studying castles so I thought such royal head gear only appropriate. Not to miss out on the fun, the kindergarten students also made kind crowns for each other. Once we were so festively attired, a royal dance party was decreed! What better way to celebrate the coincidence of both classes studying the letter D! All of the Dancers had a Divine time moving Dynamically.
