Let’s face it, verb conjugations are not the most fun part of learning a language. Until now! In an effort to make learning verbs more fun and for students to recognize that pronunciation is important, students were charged with creating a verb chant or song. The only requirement: the chant/song should be catchy. After all, we need something to help us to remember all of these verb forms! Students had so much fun with this that they performed their chants/songs to Señora Corvese’s class and were awarded superlatives like “Most Likely to Win a Grammy” or “Most Likely to be a One Hit Wonder.” I am not sure who was more entertained: the students or the teachers!
