Vocabulario con Jenga!!!
Posted by Isabel TapiaSeventh Graders used the popular game of Jenga in Spanish class for a vocabulary review. This vocabulary game was very fun and exciting for the students. At first, the game seemed pretty simple, but eventually students learned that there was a strategy to be had: working together as a team to build a stable tower. Students had to demonstrate correct spelling, agreement and pronunciation to have a successful turn. If the students got the words incorrect, they put the Jenga block down on the table and another member from their team seized the opportunity to correctly place the block. The more a word got repeated in the game, the more students grew in confidence and knowledge.
