What would you do if you witnessed a dishonest act? What would you do if two of your friends were asking you to choose a side in a disagreement? What would you do if your project partner wasn’t doing his/her fair share of the work? This month in advisory we focused on what it means to be a good friend in the face of adversity. Student groups were each assigned a hypothetical scenario to act out in front of their peers. Each group’s end goal was to act out the scenario showing how a good friend would handle the situation. Seventh graders really rose to the occasion. They shed light on some tricky topics, all the while having a great time connecting with one another!
