Outside Classroom
Posted by Janice ShannonWe had a great day outside in the woods behind our school. We wanted to spend our whole classroom time playing with mother nature. We found lots of tiny bugs under the rocks, had a tent to go inside, and we even tried to get a fish in the brook but they were too fast for us. We learned about the bark on a tree and made a drawing of it by rubbing crayons on a piece of paper. With our saws from the makerspace, we made cuts in the logs that were on the ground. The small branches were easier to cut than the big logs. We were really tired after our outside classroom and all want to do it again next month!
