Carrying On The Knitting Tradition
Posted by Bobby BrennanDuring the first week of school the fourth graders carried on the tradition of learning how to knit. Knitting is used as a mindfulness practice when busy minds need a break. It also helps restless bodies stay calm. All of the finished projects such as hats and scarves will be donated to Mercy Learning Center at Thanksgiving time. The fourth graders are looking forward to giving back to their community in a fun way!
