Three New Words: Electricity, Circuits, Propellers
Posted by Janice ShannonAfter their class in the Gator Garage, the PreK-3 class has three new words – electricity, circuits and propellers. First, Mr. R-M helped us drill a hole in the middle of a popsicle stick. Then, he showed us a battery, a red wire, a black wire and a small gray motor. He carefully touched the black wire to the end of the battery and WOW!!! Things started spinning fast! We each got our own circuit, all we had to do was put our popsicle stick on the motor, then carefully touch the bump on the battery and our popsicle stick turned into a propeller! Amazing!
