We are working on a farm unit in PreK-4. The children had fun shucking corn and learning that it doesn’t just come straight from the freezer! We also learned that milk comes from cows and about the many products made from milk. Students created collages showing all of these products – ice-cream was their favorite. As you can see we had the most fun sampling the corn and the delicious butter that we made ourselves by shaking cream!
