Short Skits
Posted by Megan KirkSecond graders have been learning about what goes into making an entertaining skit for an audience to enjoy. What does each character in the scene have to do in order for the audience to stay engaged? From using our breath to support a healthy speaking voice, to creating a scene that is interesting to watch, students made their short skits come to life! We also used the classroom masks and props to help tell our stories. As one group was performing, the other students were the audience, practicing what it means to be a good audience member by attentively listening to what the actors were saying.
