There ain’t no bugs on me
There may be bugs on some of you mugs
But there ain’t no bugs on me.
The seventh grade recently traveled to the Fairfield Audubon grounds to begin their exploration of ecology and the environment. The wetlands habitat, or area were water dwelling organisms live, was the focus. We visited a stream ecosystem, fresh water marsh ecosystem, and pond ecosystem. Abiotic factors were observed and measured by the students. Biotic factors, in this case living organism called macro invertebrates were collected to compare the “health” of each ecosystem.
