¡Preguntas, preguntas, preguntas!
Posted by Katie BrennaQuestions, questions, questions! Fifth graders are preparing to face The Tower of Questions in Spanish class, a tower that can only be defeated with increased knowledge of interrogatives in the target language. To prepare for their challenge, fifth graders have been feverishly practicing 54 questions and answers in Spanish. One practice activity involved circle drills where students tossed and received bean bags as they asked and answered questions. For another practice activity, students rotated interview partners and took turns quizzing each other. Once achieving a certain level of familiarity with the questions, students were challenged to think critically in a game of four corners. Students had to listen to the questions said aloud and identify the word missing from the question. With all of this practice, I think it is safe to say that fifth graders are well on their way of conquering The Tower of Questions!
