First graders recently participated in a fun drama activity: “What Kind of Machine Are You?” We brainstormed a list of machines – some real, some made-up. We then created these machines using our bodies and made sound effects with our voices. Students loved thinking of ways to become lego machines, castle machines and robot machines! They drew pictures of their machines to help visualize them as well. They had a great time sharing their machines with the class and demonstrating their creativity!
