In kindergarten we have been learning about being good friends. We wrote friendly letters and kind notes to each other and other people in the school. We sent pen pal letters to the PreK- 4 class that used kind words. The other day, we went down to the PreK classrooms to model friendly behaviors. Kindergarteners acted out skits that demonstrated how to play and clean up cooperatively. Last, in an act of unfathomable cuteness, the eager kindergarten students helped their PreK friends button up and get ready for the cold. The kids enjoyed this so much that we just had to return the next day and do it all again with the next bunch of PreK-3 students! Look out for more collaborative projects to come.
