A Season for Eating
Posted by Faith BarbutoEvery year during the holiday season, the kindergarten class invites parents to come in and share their family’s holiday traditions. It’s a great way to learn about other cultures and for parents to be involved in the classroom! This year all the presentations involved food – always an important part of a holiday celebration. From a New Year’s celebration involving Swiss chalets and chocolate fondue, to latkes and the story of Hanukkah and decorating Christmas cookies, children thoroughly enjoyed all of the traditions! If you are a parent with something to share, please let us know- there are many more holidays to come!
