We could not have had a better day for our very first field experience. The air was crisp and the skies were blue as we boarded the apple train and took a scenic ride through the orchard. Students searched high and low to fill their bags with the perfect apples. Some couldn’t resist a bite on the way back! We topped off the day with a trip to the “cereal bowl,” a giant pit of corn kernels. Trust me, it is as fun as it looks!
