We are so happy to have José and Ana Cris visiting with us from Guatemala for the next eight weeks. On their very first day in Spanish class, students enjoyed participating in a question-answer session to get to know our new friends better. Our eighth graders were eager to find out the answers to questions like: What is a typical day like for you? Do you have brothers and sisters? What are your favorite foods? As the week progressed, José and Ana Cris helped to add authenticity to our lesson on reflexive verbs by describing their daily routines to the class. We can’t wait to see what the coming weeks will bring!
