The Gators have started another spring Cross Country season with strong results. At last week’s meet at Waveny Park in New Canaan, the Gators placed high among the other schools. Among the top runners, Collin placed 4th in the seventh and eighth grade division and Patrick placed 7th among the fifth and sixth grade division. Other impressive finishers were Ryan and Ella of the fifth and sixth grade division and Carson and Quinn among the seventh and eighth grade division.

For many of our Gators, it was their first cross country experience and both their determination and stamina got them over the finish line in record times. Among our new team members, Hank of the fifth and sixth grade division, finished the course in 19 minutes which was way above his personal goal for the meet. Way to go Hank!

Our next meet is in Fairfield at Penfield Beach on Thursday, April 17th.
