¡Cucharas!
Posted by Katie BrennaWho better to ask how to get a bunch of sixth graders to review “old stuff” than sixth graders themselves? Challenged to create activities to motivate their classmates to review, student teams worked hard to breathe new life into concepts by creating their own activities for the class. Student teams created and facilitated slideshows, game shows, scavenger hunts, guessing games, guided dialogues, board games, Simon Says and Pictionary. The team pictured here put a new twist on the classic game Spoons (Cucharas in our class) to get their friends to practice Spanish question words. As we near the end of our review period, I can’t wait to see what the remaining teams have in store for us!
