Do You Recognize These Third Graders?

Third grade drama students recently completed a unit on mask work by making their own masks! Each student used their imaginations to come up with an entirely original character, whether it be a creature, animal or person. They assigned specific traits and a backstory to their character and designed a mask to complement their character’s personality. From there, we used simple materials to make masks of the characters. It was an incredibly colorful and creative lesson!
