Eighth Grade Gets Excited Watching Water Boil
Posted by Craig KnebelThe eighth graders are exploring the graphing of phase changes in water. What happens to the temperature of an ice water bath as you keep adding heat? Does the temperature rise steadily? What happens to the temperature of water once it boils? Does it keep rising? The eighth grade scientists melted ice and turned their liquid to steam to answer these boiling questions. The students were “all around me feeling Hot Hot Hot.”
