Posted by Katie BrennaDid you know that Peru is in the Guinness Book of World Records for it’s gastronomic diversity? Well, it is! Seventh graders just took a mini food tour of the country learning about traditional dishes like el sancochado, el seco de carne, el ceviche, el paiche y el suspiro limeño. To end our unit of study, students acted out restaurant skits. Students took turns playing the part of the waiter and/or the customer. Of course they took liberties, adding creative touches to engage their audience. Job well done!
