Face Jugs

Eighth grade students are working on ceramic “face jugs,” which are inspired by pottery first found in the southern states along the route of the underground railroad. Over the years, potters have continued the tradition of creating face jugs, and they are commonly found in pottery shops and galleries in North and South Carolina.
