Girls Green soccer put up a good fight against GFA at home on Tuesday, but when the buzzer sounded…we lost 3-0. Our forwards Sophia, Ella and Lisi took great shots on goal, but we just couldn’t get anything past GFA’s goalie.

On the other end of the field, Gator defense was giving it their all. Lucy, Amelia, Anne Marie and Sophia rotated on defense and were among the stronger players who worked hard to defend our goalie, Hannah.

This was Hannah’s first full game in goal and she was full of awesome surprises and courage. We couldn’t be prouder to call her our goalie. Way to go, Hannah! All in all, the Gators went away with a 3-0 loss, but we are going to come back fighting in our next home game game against St. Luke’s.
