After filling ourselves with a delicious Thanksgiving banquet, the kindergarten and fourth grade classes set to work on the exhilarating yet daunting task of filling a school bus with all the food generously donated to the food drive. As with all our tasks, the students attacked this endeavour with vigor and enthusiasm. Once the bus was loaded, we traveled to Mercy Learning Center and began the unloading process. Then we went inside the center to learn more about how they help to educate mothers and help make their lives and the lives of their children better. It was a wonderful way to start the season of giving and gave us all a moment to reflect on all we have to be thankful for.
