Haikusday Tuesday!
Posted by Ariel WarshawEvery Tuesday in April, fifth grade writers are crafting haiku poems to celebrate National Poetry Month. Once completed, students must share their work publicly to bring joy and inspiration to their neighbors. These haiku have been chalked on driveways and cul de sacs, hung in windows and doorways, and even taped on household appliances for some familial entertainment! Tune in for featured Haikusday Haiku on Tuesdays, and if you’d like to join in the public display of poetry (remember: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables), please post your work using #UNQhaikusday and #UNQgatorsinthehouse!
