Sixth, seventh and eighth graders were treated to an afternoon of high flying fun at the Discovery Museum’s Adventure Park. After getting fitted with rigging for climbing and a brief safety instruction, students were off to a challenging high ropes course. Some courses were as low as four feet off the ground and others were as high as 80+ feet. Excitement brewed as the first zip could be heard and it was off from there. It was clear after three hours of climbing and ziplining that everyone had a great time. Comments like, “Wow, that was fun,” “Best time ever,” and “AWESOME” were just a few comments by the many kids participating. A special thank you to the UPA parent committee for organizing this excellent trip. It was clear everyone had a blast!
