“Hanging by a Wire” at the US Social
Posted by Lloyd MitchellSixth, seventh and eighth graders were treated to an afternoon of high flying fun at the Discovery Museum’s Adventure Park. After getting fitted with rigging for climbing and a brief safety instruction, students were off to a challenging high ropes course. Some courses were as low as four feet off the ground and others were as high as 80+ feet. Excitement brewed as the first zip could be heard and it was off from there. It was clear after three hours of climbing and ziplining that everyone had a great time. Comments like, “Wow, that was fun,” “Best time ever,” and “AWESOME” were just a few comments by the many kids participating. A special thank you to the UPA parent committee for organizing this excellent trip. It was clear everyone had a blast!
