Kindergarteners have been learning to measure using nonstandard units of measure such as plastic links and tiles. We have measured objects, pictures and even ourselves! Last week, we got the chance to teach our new measuring skills to the PreK-4 kids! Each kindergarten student was given a PreK-4 buddy to measure and help record data. Students measured their partners’ hands, arms, legs and height with plastic links and assisted them in writing the results.
