If I Could Save a Song in a Bottle

While the eighth graders did not try and play Jim Croce’s hit “Time in a Bottle,” Ode to Joy, Three Blind Mice and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star made our top ten. The class has been studying the nature of sound and what frequency looks and sounds like. In music, frequency is akin to pitch and the students made and played their own five-note, different pitch, water bottle xylophones for lab.
