La casa de Julio y Julia
Posted by Isabel TapiaKindergarteners visited Julio and Julia’s house as part our unit on la casa (the house). We learned about different types of houses in Spanish and how people live in some other countries. We also discussed the colors, sizes and styles of the students’ own houses. Kindergarteners had fun identifying all the rooms in their house and practicing house vocabulary. They answered questions like: Donde esta Julio and Julia? (Where are Julio and Julia?), La casa es grande o pequena? (Is the house big or small?), Julia esta en la sala? (Julia is in the living room?), etc. Finally, kindergarteners pretended to be part of their family in the house. Buen trabajo kindergarteners!!
