Let There Be Light!
Posted by Faith BarbutoDuring the month of December, the kindergarten class is exploring holiday traditions from around the world. As we learned more about the diversity of Kwanzaa, Diwali, Hanukkah and Christmas customs from different countries we noticed one common element, light! This led to work with electricity in the makerspace. Our budding engineers learned to cut and strip wires. Then we connected our pieces on the ground and current sides and were able to light a light bulb! Next we will be making our own circuits to bring home.
