Mona Lisa
Posted by Janice ShannonDuring the year we study numerous artists that have had an unusual life in some way or have made a very famous painting that the children should remember throughout their lives. We make up songs or poems that help us remember the artist and sometimes even make a snack that will remind us of our lesson. Recently, we studied DaVinci’s Mona Lisa. We loved thinking about what was on Mona’s mind. Why did she only have a little smile? Why didn’t she wear makeup like other grownups we know? What do you think?
