The Kindergarten class is learning about Leonardo da Vinci and his famous painting the “Mona Lisa” painted between 1503 and 1506. In addition to being the best-known, most-visited, and most-parodied painting in the world it also has an exciting history. The Mona Lisa was gifted to the King of France, hung in the bedroom of Napoleon, and stolen in 1911. The class finished the lesson by being the star of their own masterpiece by posing as Mona Lisa.
