My Pets – Wǒ de chǒng wù
Posted by Carina BlackwellPets play an important role in many people’s lives, providing companionship, love, and joy. In Mandarin class, eighth graders presented stories about their beloved pets, which included fish, dogs, and cats. Each student expressed their enthusiasm, showcasing the unique characteristics of their pets and how these animals contribute to their daily lives. For instance, dogs are often known for their loyalty and playful nature, making them great companions for outdoor activities, while cats can provide comfort and companionship with their gentle demeanor. Fish, although less interactive, offer beauty and tranquility to their surroundings. This engaging unit on pets allowed students to not only learn about each other’s experiences but also to appreciate the diverse ways in which animals enrich our lives. Well done, eighth grade!
