Performing Arts Fun with PreK-3!
Posted by Alyson CahillPreK-3 students had a lot of fun in Performing Arts recently! Mrs. Kirk and Mrs. Cahill led them through several great activities, including singalongs and a drama game. Mrs. Shannon told us that they had started to learn about birds, so of course we sang our “Bluebird” song using a puppet to fly through the “windows” we made with our bodies. We then played the elevator game, where students went from floor to floor using their imaginations to act out certain themes. We crept like quiet mice on one floor, then picked chocolate flowers on the Candyland floor and even went to the zoo! Then the students sang the beautiful “All the Pretty Horses” lullaby. It was a great class!
