PLANTS! In The Classroom And The Garden…
Posted by Cameron Ross-MacCormackIn second grade we study living things to see how they grow and change. Right now we are observing beans and peas that we planted as seeds in our classroom. Our plants are just starting to sprout but we had the opportunity today to compare them to full grown bean plants during our scavenger hunt with Mrs. Curran in the school garden. Students picked some of the beans as part of their hunt and were so excited to learn that their harvest would be part of this afternoon’s lunch. It’s nice to see our fall science curriculum lining up so well with our Farm-to-Fork dining program!
