During our study of the artist Mary Cassatt, the PreK-4 students dressed up like the subjects of Cassatt’s painting “The Boating Party.” To prepare for our pictures the kids decorated hats to wear while they were posing. We had a great time while learning about the impressionist painter and her choices of subject and color.
