Seventh grade students are in the process of creating these beautiful mandalas with sharpie marker and tempera paint. The initial design is traced through their paper eight times using the windows as a light source, and then their designs are painted, carrying symmetry throughout. Students are honing their design and fine motor skills in creating these highly detailed paintings and I am thrilled with their progress so far. Great job!
