The sixth grade students are involved in a research project in connection with their study of ancient Egypt. Students selected a specific topic which interested them and used questions regarding that topic to guide their research. They were able to spend several class periods in the library locating sources and, once they had found answers to their questions, crafted a thesis statement on which to build their research report. Students are currently finishing their outlines and drafts and will complete their final reports early in March. Dr. Rasti and I look forward to reading them!
