Rube Goldberg Machines
Posted by Cameron Ross-MacCormackSecond graders are studying forces and motion. The basics of physics come alive while small group work endeavors to construct an imaginative path for a marble or two to coast along. Students will spend a few days working and building with text and many videos to supplement. When students construct a final sequence and design, they will draw and label their sequence with forces. They will write out parts of the scientific method. This is a super fun project that kids always love, and learn a lot from.
