Per custom, language students recited prayers, poems and expressions of gratitude in many different languages before feasting at the Thanksgiving Banquet. Twenty-two student representatives from fourth grade through eighth grade said expressions of thanks in ten different languages! The heritage languages represented were Hebrew, French, Tamil, Italian, Ukranian, Spanish, Mandarin, Gaelic, Lebanese and Malayalam. As always, it is inspiring to hear students of all ages recite these heritage prayers with pride. Just one more thing to be grateful for!
