Student News in 8th Grade Algebra
Posted by colleenjacquesStudents in Algebra I are wrapping up a unit on graphing Linear Functions. They explored and practiced three methods for graphing including making an x/y table, slope-intercept form and using x/y intercepts. We also studied the concept of a parent function, how to graph one and how to describe what type of transformation took place in relation to the parent function. Today students graphed Absolute Value functions in which they described the domain and range as well as how the the graph was related to the parent function.
