Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle
Posted by Carlene GordonThe third grade and kindergarten classes paired up to see a show at Sacred Heart University presented by The Connecticut Children’s Theater. The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle entertains and teaches about friendship and responsibility when four friends join together to find some missing items. This show also presented many English expressions that may be confusing to the very young. Our students were delighted to learn the actual meaning of expressions such as “you’re in hot water,” “I’m in the dog house” and “wet behind the ears” .Our students had a great time and by the end of the show, were dancing in the aisles to the “Bunny Hop” song. Thank you Connecticut Children’s Theater for a fantastic morning!
