The Road Not Taken
Posted by Megan Kirk
Students in 6th through 8th grade chorus are working very hard on the piece The Road Not Taken. This is a very challenging song that takes the poem by Robert Frost and sets it to a beautiful score. Although very difficult, the harmonies are stunning and help the poem come to life. Students have been working in small groups to help one another master their parts in the song. When we hit the harmonies just right, the students can really feel what the composer was trying to accomplish in this song. I am so proud of their dedication to learning this challenging piece.
