We Are All Connected
Posted by Megan KirkIn movement class today we talked about how we are all connected to one another. As we are learning to move our bodies and express ourselves in movement we want to remember to be aware of those around us. When moving in a space you have to have a sense of where others are around you in order to be safe and create meaningful movements. We also want to remember that we all have different feelings and emotions that can all be connected to one another. In order to feel safe expressing oneself we have to know that the other students around us respect and value our feelings. To put a visual to this lesson we took a ball of yarn and students had to weave it in a circle, and then hand it off to someone else. In the end we were all holding this web of yarn connecting us all together.
