In a land once blessed with warmth, the Kingdom of Unquowa now faces a dangerous rise in temperatures, threatening its delicate ecosystem. At the heart of this tale is Renee Plover, a compassionate woman who runs a rescue service for injured animals. Her latest patient is Ti, a Belgian Tiger recovering under the care of Renee and her daughter, Sarah.

Renee’s work as an assistant to her Aunt, Ms. Rinalda Cost, an accountant with a notoriously harsh and bitter demeanor, adds to her struggles. As the heatwave intensifies, Renee and her friends—Meteorologist Gabe Fahrenheit and Climatologist James Hanson—begin receiving distress calls from animals in need, including a family of polar bears stranded on a melting iceberg.

Meanwhile, Rinalda’s life takes a turn when she is visited by the spirits of her late aunts, who, through song and wisdom, urge her to reconsider her behavior. As more spirits appear—The Spirit of Friendship, The Spirit of Family, and the Ghost of Silence—Rinalda must decide whether to embrace their messages and change her ways.
